Ok so I might not have been able to fully de-google (yet) but holy shit all of my everything is in much better shape for the attempt... and also now mostly on encrypted servers in Switzerland. Don't worry, you can still send stuff to my gmail account, it'll just scoot right on out of there pretty much immediately to frolic among the Alps.

It is nice, after decades of accruing stuff, having all my logins locked down, all the spam truly ditched (looking at you, LinkedIn), my photo library something like organised. I don't know if everyone-else already had an immaculate archive of everything and I've been playing catch-up, but what a weird relief.
